What happened

The bike was locked with a U-lock to a parking sign on the south side of Montana St. about 50 feet from Lincoln Ave. The bike was locked at the location after 7:00pm and gone by 11:00pm. In the area there were security personal guarding equipment being used for a film shoot. By 11pm, the bike was missing and the sign it to which it had been locked was laying in the parkway. The sign had pulled out of the ground.

The bike was purchased in June of 2005. Features of the bike were a comfort gel seat, "slimed" tires, and a mount for a U-lock on the vertical post beneath the seat. It is likely that a black U-lock is still attached to the front of the frame.
