1986 Schwinn Letour
What happened
The bicycle was locked to itself inside a Toyota Corolla. The thief smashed the window to remove the bike. About 10 feet from the car someone had their (bike) wheels stolen also. Nothing besides the bike was taken from the car.

- True tempered Schwinn Letour frame that was stripped and turned into a fixie. Above the true temper sticker is the glue remains of a bike shop sticker I removed. The bike had red anodized front rim laced to a Shimano 105 hub. The back rim was Matrix and charcoal grey laced to a campy record track hub. The cranks were replaced for brand new silver Truvativ cranks which had a 46 tooth chainring with shugino crank bolts. The bike had cut mountain bars with vintage red Schwinn displaying the Schwinn in cursive.
