1980s Trek 400 series

What happened

I went out of town for several months on the morning of November 27, 2020 and left my bike locked in the private bike room of my apartment complex, alongside the bikes of other residents. I returned on the afternoon of May 26, 2021 to find that my bike lock had been cut and my bike stolen. I am unsure of when in the course of my absence it was taken, but access to the bike room requires a building key, so it was likely an inside job.

Bike details

Road Bike
Color
Gray
Condition
Bicycle is in very good condition. The paint is unchipped and it had received a tune-up within 3 months of being taken, which included a polishing of all metal components. The bike has its original Bontrager tires (27"), avocet seat, and downtube shifters; and is outfitted with a rear cargo rack, toe clips, and side-view mirror on the front handle bars (though any of these components could, of course, be removed). The Trek logo runs vertically down the seat tube. (N.B. The image provided below is taken from what I believe might have been thief's Ebay listing for my bike, now defunct.)
