RECOVERED Burley Pine Grove

What happened

The bike was locked to itself with a red and black small U-lock on the front tire. The wheels were also locked to the frame with Pitlock Locking Skewers. The bike was inside the locked basement of a small condo building, so it was not locked to anything else. At least 3 other bikes were taken at the same time, and 2 of those have been posted on letgo.com/offerup.com per neighbors.

2006 Burley Pine Grove all black frame, Shimano 105 shifters and brakes, Velomax Vista wheels, Selle Italia saddle, Ritchey handlebar, stem, and seatpost, and a Cane Creek headset. Has a u-lock holder on the diagonal frame tube and a black wire water bottle holder on the vertical frame tube. The brand and model stickers on the frame tubes were covered in matte black heavy-duty tape. Faded Shimano 105 brand marking on the pedal levers. Scrapes around the handlebar and shifters. ============================= On 9/8/2023 the victim wrote: Someone found it abandoned in Peterson Park and was kind enough to bring it to me thanks to finding my info on your site. The bike is one of a kind because Burleys are not made anymore, so I’m extremely grateful to have it back.
