Trek 1.1

What happened

The bike was locked to a bicycle rack near Gate 6 at Busch Stadium at approximately 5:20pm. It was secured via a Kryptonite cable extension which was run through the front wheel and affixed to the bicycle frame with a Kryptonite Series 2 U-Lock. Upon returning to the bicycle rack at approximately 7:20 pm, the bike was missing and the U-Lock and cable extension (which was cut) were left on the ground near the rack.

Condition
The bicycle was the 2011 model year Trek 1.1 (black paint with red accents), and the frame was in relatively good condition (with a few scratches & adhesive residue on the top tube), and had a sticker/decal form the South Florida (Sunrise) bicycle store from which it was purchased. It had recently upgraded with Shimano 105 components (front & read derailleurs, shifters, & brakes) that were in pristine condition and Felt TTR4 wheels (with Felt TTR2 tires) that were in excellent condition. Please note the crank set was not upgraded and was the stock FSA 50-34 compact. Two aluminum (with black rubber coating) bottle cages were installed on seat tube & down tube. In one was a green Gatorade water bottle, in the other was a storage pod (inside of which was a flat tire repair kit and tool set). Attached to the bike were Forte Corsa2 Pedals (which had significant wear), front and rear lights (Bontrager City Bicycle Light set), and a Nashbar saddle bag (inside of which was a multitool, tire lever, $20 bill, and expired Missouri driver's license issued to me, Lucas Wenger.
