Canondale Supersix Evo

What happened

I was distance swimming at OH St Beach and away from the bike for 40 min. the minimal bike racks were full so bike was cable-locked to a metal fence post through frame and front wheel was U-locked to frame. Broad daylight with many other bikes around. Some beach-going witnesses heard a man sawing 10' away from them. He told them he was having trouble with his bike lock and apologized for the noise. They watched him then walk away calmly with it. He was 6'2"-6'-3" white male ~200lbs (wearing hat and sunglasses) and they were mothers with their kids so I understand them not stopping him. When I returned and walked to where my bike had been they approached me and explained what had happened. There is a camera right near there so hoping that will help.
