Trek 4000
What happened
Bike was locked to a city bike lock at the corner of E. Jackson Blvd and S. Michigan Ave., on the sidewalk right by a Divvy station. No other bikes were locked there, but we figured it would be safe enough. When we returned, we saw that the bike was missing, along with one helmet that had been locked to the bike. The thieves left the other helmet clipped to the bike rack, as a nasty taunt.

- Condition
- It's a beater of a mountain bike, with a gel seat with a tattered cover, glow-in-the-dark handlebar grips and a front wheel that's been painted several different colors. The frame is aluminum or perhaps an alloy - very light. It had a seatpost bag containing hand cream, a clear plastic poncho, chap stick and one of those string backpacks. Bike answers to the name of Fury, which basically describes the only emotion I am currently capable of feeling.
