Rocky Mountain Instinct 2003

What happened

This mountain bike, along with another, was stolen out of garage that backs onto alley this afternoon at about 3:20pm. Neighbor down the road saw the guy, got a pic from behind as he headed down the alley and she then called the police. The 1/2" braided steel cable was cut, not the lock. We are still confused as to how he got access to garage as door was closed maybe the auto door's radio frequency has been skimmed?!? Just wanted to mention this if others have had similar situation.
