What happened

My bike was locked to itself in the bike room in our apartment building (820 W Belmont Ave, 60657..side of the building, in the alley across from Ragstock). I've put it there, in the same spot, for a couple months (since I've owned it). I put it in the bike room on April 13, 2016 at around 12:00pm and the next morning (April 14, 2016) it was gone. The bike room is right when you walk into the side of the building, so it's possible someone from the outside got in, but there's never been a break in during the building's history. I'm leaning toward it being someone who lives in the building, but I of course don't know for sure.
