Surly Steamroller
What happened
Bike was in basement with numerous others. Back, outer door of two-family dwelling (access to basement steps once in) possibly left unlocked (?) as no sign of forced entry at door. Unsure of time, though most likely in early AM hours of 07/22. No other bikes removed from basement. Hit & run. Most valuable bike id'ed? Bike was not visible through basement windows, so thinking it was potentially neighborhood deviants or consistent passers by who'd seen me leaving/coming home with bike as I rode it daily to work in the Loop. I know, what a dummy for forgetting to lock it. Totally bummed. Thanks for reading & keeping an eye open. Peace.

- This bike is in very good condition. * Black Surly Steamroller frame & fork THE PARTS I REALLY WANT BACK!!! * black Cetma rack * silver Velocity Deep V rims (front rim has very slight indentation/bend at the top of braking area) * silver Phil Wood track hubs * 17t Phil Wood cog * Phil Wood lockring * silver Nitto cro-mo riser bars (cut-down) wrapped with cloth tape * black Tektro level & long reach caliper (front) * black 42t Sugino Messenger chainring (130 bcd) * silver Truvativ Touro crank arms * silver Nitto stem (110m, I think; bolts slightly cross-threaded so faceplate a bit wonky) * black s-8 Cane Creek headset * silver seat post * black Selle Italia saddle with full anatomic split through back of saddle (unsure of model). Narrow & very worn, with slight tilt on one side, carbon-ish looking bits & small rip in leather near u-shaped area where anatomic split ends near the saddle nose * Rivendell Ruffy Tuffy 28c gumwall-tires (logo is rhino head). front tire's rubber is pretty chewed in a strip around rim from brake pad rubbing & going unnoticed during a ride--can see reddish-orange casing
