What happened

I was meeting my bf at the Do-Division Fest. I was planning on bringing my bike in and lock it to a bike rack somewhere inside. When I was going to enter one of the volunteers at the entrance told me to better not to bring the bike inside because of the crowd. I nodded and turned around and look for another area to lock the bike. It was packed with bikes all around. I decided to cross to the northwest intersection of Division and Leavitt. In that corner there were more bikes locked to the tall long fence of what it looks the parking lot of the hospital in front of it. There were a group of policemen standing up with bikes there and I asked to one of them if it was OK to lock the bike, he said there are others there so it seems that you can. I came back to pick up my bike and ride back home around midnight and the bike was not there. There were other bikes locked with U-lock to the fence though.

My bike was a few years old and it has been fairly used. The distinguishable were the bell on the right side of the handle with a sticker sayining "I <3 my bike". The sit was a black with a one white trip on each side.
