Raleigh
What happened
The bike was always locked to a stair rail in my enclosed storage area. On Friday, my upstairs neighbors were moving out, so my bike was unlocked and moved out of their way. The storage door was left open or unlocked for part of the day as my neighbors hauled things out. I am assuming that at some point, an opportunist saw the bike through the open door or window and stole it. When I returned home from work, the door to the storage area was not fully latched and the bike was gone.
