What happened

My bike was locked to a bike rack right in front of my work, on Michigan ave in the loop. Was within eye-shot of the security guard's desk. Cable locked through the front and back wheels AND the frame to the rack. Don't know how they got it off the rack in broad daylight on a crowded street. There is supposedly security footage. I reported it to the guard and filed a police report.

Mountain bike with road tires. No reflectors except for the wheel rims, which are reflective. Has the original handlebar extenders pointing straight up. Old bike, brand new road tires. Rack in the middle of frame for water bottle. New seat with two gel cushions. Handle bar mount is very rusted. Brakes are very loose. Sounds like a piece of crap, but I've had it for 16 years and I love it. Been through a lot.
