RecoveredWhat happened
My work captured the incident on video surveillance. Two males approached my bike from the west side of Western Ave. One had a bike, the other was on foot. One man pulled his bike close to mine (perhaps to look like he was busy locking up his own bike), then the other cut the coil or the lock. They both rode off on bikes, heading south on N. Western Ave.

Recovery notes
On August 15 2013 the victim wrote: My bike was stolen on July 26. The incident was captured on the surveillance camera at my work: two individuals cut the lock and rode away. This all happened within seconds, at 10:48 a.m. on a weekday, on a busy street. I filed a police report and listed the incident on CSBR. On August 14th, while out for lunch, I spotted my bike a mere few blocks from where it was initially taken. It was locked with another bike to a post on the corner of North and Claremont. The police officer who arrived on the scene told me he did not have the equipment to break the lock. He advised me to do it myself or enlist a locksmith. A very helpful local bike shop was able to help. What about the other bike that was locked with mine, you ask? I found a description that matched on CSBR, got in touch with the victim, exchanged pictures, and confirmed that it was her bike, stolen on August 7! She'll retrieve it from my work. That's two happy campers, thanks CSBR!
