Trek 3700
What happened
I used this bike to get to work. I always lock it with 2 U-locks. One on the frame against solid object and one thru the front tire to a solid object. I went out of town for the weekend and when I came back last night the bike was gone. The bike was locked against a staircase railing, which is solid metal, unmovable in concrete, in the back of the building with a well lit area and with security cameras all over the place. Still someone was able to defeat the U-lock and make off with the bike. My husband's bike Giant was also stolen from the same location in the same manner. I will file a separate report for that bike.
