Woman's Huffy Mountain Bike
What happened
The bike was locked to the wooden fence in our parking lot behind the complex. Two neighbors reported seeing it around 11AM on the morning it disappeared, and it was gone by the time I got home around 3PM. The lock and cable are gone as well. Have had numerous issues with a neighbor in the past, including her threatening to slash the tires of my bike. The location of the bike makes it difficult to believe just someone walking on the street decided to take it, and other bikes are still left in the same area, undamaged.
Bike details

- Size
- 26 inch
- Condition
- This is a blueish green Huffy woman's moutain or road bike (it was bought 14 years ago, so I don't know specifics). It has a brand new wider seat, with a black Planet Bike Eco Rack Oversized 6061 T6 Aluminum Bike Rack mounted to the rear tire and frame, and two black Wald 582 Rear Folding Bicycle Baskets (12.75 x 7.25 x 8.5)mounted to the rack for groceries. These collapse when not in use, and were collapsed at the time it was stolen. The baskets are properly installed, and also will have a few heavy duty black zip ties to keep them from rattling. The brakes are a bit old, with the right brake not as sharp as the left anymore.
