2004 - Trek 4300 HardTail
What happened
I have been locking my bock on the same rack in front of my office building on a busy sidewalk everyday for the past 10 weeks. The activity in front of the building is active enough that it should have been apparent to anyone that the bike was being stolen. I also am very particular about how well it is secured, looping my cable lock many times around the bike. Oh, and I hate dead-beats.

- In excellent condition, has a "Dragon" brand sticker on lower bar of frame. Two sets of "FourSquare" brand decals on top bar of frame. Also has a silver rear saddle bag rack over back tire. The bike is also known for conquering stairs, backwoods trails, getting hit by cabs, and almost "eating it" many time into a river gorge up north, and I am afraid its new owner may not appreciate all the adventures its been on.
