Top End Force handcycle
What happened
I kept my handcycle on a rack on the wall in the enclosed garage of my 24-unit condo building, in my parking space area. It was secured to a metal ring that was bolted to the concrete block wall with the thickest cable lock that I could find (I probably should have used several u-locks.) I don't know the exact time it was stolen but I did wake up and hear some noises from the alley behind the building at around 2:00 AM on Friday, Sept. 16. Other bikes have been stolen from our garage recently.
Bike details
- Type
- Other (describe in detail below)
- Color
- purple
- Condition
- This three-wheeled purple handcycle and removable seat was custom-built in 2010 to my specifications because I have a disability and use a manual wheelchair for mobility. It looks kind of like a recumbent bike but it has hand cranks and it would be very difficult for anyone else to use because there is no place to rest your legs. The frame is approximately 6 feet long and cannot be folded.
