What happened
Two bikes were locked to a city bike rack, on the corner of Michigan and Madison, using two cable locks. We went into the restaurant in the park to use the restroom. We returned less than 10 minutes later to find my bike gone, the cable cut, laying on the ground. The other bike was still there but the second cable lock was also gone. Nobody in the area came forward with any information so we conducted a small, limited search of the area. We had problems contacting CPD on the phone so we walked to the station at State and 18th to file a report.

- Almost brand new bike, small chips on top tube, has a Topeak rack on the back, a bag and an underseat tool bag were on the bike when it was stolen. It was locked together with another bike using two cable locks around a city bike rack, using on cable with padlock and one integrated combination lock.
