Trek 2000 (but this bike was powdercoated and shows no indication of this)

What happened

Lots of bike riders and traffic frequent this area.. strange because it happened in broad daylight between 10am-2:30pm. Always have secured my bike this way and have never had a problem in 2 1/2 years. No witnesses even though a high school is on this block and it is a school day. No trace.
