1990 Trek 1400
What happened
It was stolen around 4:15p on Mon., Nov. 15 on Damen. The sun was just beginning to set. Someone from the police dept. told me that it's usually a two-man job. One comes through with the wirecutters and cuts the cable, while the next follows and grabs the bike. He stated that people around the scene don't even realize it's happening. He also said that of the recovered bikes, the pawn shop on North & Kedzie is a hot spot as well as Swap-O-Rama on 43rd & Ashland. So, please look out for them there. I knew I should have used a better lock, but my husband was using our Kryptonite lock for his mountain bike.
