What happened
My bike's lock was installed onto the bike. I've only had it for 3 days, so it didn't occur to me that it might be easy to break off. It was locked with a U lock onto a bike rack. Someone must have cut or ripped the bike and lock apart. The lock was still on the rack.

- New. I just bought this Sunday -- the shop had it about 5 weeks before I purchased it. It has a water bottle holder, and I had special locks installed on the tires. I have a unique key to remove the tire lock.
