Windsor Wellington 1.0
What happened
I thought it would be reasonable to lock my bike in Uptown for a half hour or so while I went in to Carol's for a beer and a hotdog with some friends. (Clark street and one block south of Lawrence). I used the second best Kryptonite lock and locked the frame to a bolted rack and felt pretty safe at 8 o'clock on a tuesday night. When I went to walk my friend out of the place and say goodbye the lock was snipped so cleanly and it lay there on the ground like a nightmare next to his POS bike. And i mean snipped clean... no sawing as there was no melting... one try with the cutters as there were no marks other than the clean break. Its right next to a bustop and a bar were regulars smoke 3 cigs an hour for goodness sakes. It seems like it was caught on security tape... Anyone know if that makes a difference? Its a black and yellow beauty.
